March 16, 2002 We do not sell cigarettes to individuals under the age of 18 and we will not sell cigarettes to individuals under the age of 18. As managers and supervisors, it is your job to make sure that does not happen. Going forward we are going to adopt a simple rule. It is called "Always Buckle Up and Always Card". At some point in time in my life I had to make it a habit to always buckle my seat belt when I got in the car. Well we are going to make it a habit of always asking every employee every day it if "THEY CARD". I mean every day and every employee. 1. Managers will ask every employee every day if they card and if they asked every ne else if they carded. 2. Assistant Managers will ask every employee every day if they card and if they asked everyone else if they carded. 3. Cashiers will ask every employee they speak to or see in a day if they card and if they asked everyone else if they carded. 4. Office staff will ask every employee they see or speak to every day if they card and if they asked everyone else if they carded. 5. Truck drivers will ask every employee they see or speak to every day if they card and if they asked everyone else if they carded. We will card. We will not sell to individuals under the age of 18.
